A distinguished and learned man of God, following the Great Commission to reconcile men and women to Christ through the Gospel, is Pastor of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas ,Texas.  He is a native of Austin , Texas.

Dr. Mack T. Flemmings, Sr. was called to the ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Pastor and founder of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in May 1974.  His commitment to the enhancement of God’s kingdom on earth has manifested itself in his loyal attention to the daily activities and services of the congregation, as well as the pervasive impact of the church on community development initiatives, including education, senior citizen and youth empowerment. Dr. Flemmings spent a few years in Colorado , where he earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Philosophy.

​In addition to his professional and religious avocations, Dr. Flemmings is Chairman of the Board of Directors for FOCUS, a non-profit organization for kids at risk; Treasurer, Dallas Baptist Minister’s Conference; Member Liaison, African American Pastors Coalition.  He also served as President of the Board of Directors of the Freedom Early Learning Christian Academy (FELCA). Dr. Flemmings previously served as Chairman of the National Foreign Mission with the National Missionary Baptist Convention, during his six years with this organization, he traveled twice a year to Central America evangelizing and ultimately the mission built a church facility. He continues to be on a mission to uplift the ethical standards of the human community.  He continues to preach in distinguished pulpits throughout the Dallas metropolitan area, as well as nationally.  He is a Father of three.
